It’s Sunday so that means recipe day. I don’t always have a new recipe to share but it’s nice to take a break from fashion on Sundays when I can.
If I had to choose one specific cuisine as my favorite, it would be Italian. Meatballs, pizza, pasta, what’s not to love? This dish fits right in. The only thing I will change next time is substituting meat or spinach ravioli for the cheese. I’m a major lover of cheese but this was quite a lot! I think a different ravioli would be even more delicious.
Having said that, this dish was still very good warmed up the next day. I simply placed a moist paper towel in the microwave to preserve the moisture.
Garlic bread and a salad completed the meal.
Did you know that frozen ravioli is in the bread section at Publix? I wandered up and down the frozen vegetable and meat aisle for fifteen minutes. A cashier tried to help but she directed me to the cheeses. The only ravioli there was organic and nope I wasn’t about to spend $10+ for pasta and cheese.
Simply layer the four above ingredients…marinara, ravioli, shredded cheese; marinara, ravioli, shreddd cheese, Parmesan on top. I told you there was a plethora of cheese, lol.
Bake for 40 min on 400. Cover with foil for the first half or baking, then remove for last 20 min. This will slightly brown the top.
