A Sporty Way To Usher In Spring

It has rained so much in the last couple of days that we are on a school delay tomorrow! I’ve been through many school delay circumstances in the last 27 years but I think this is a first. Rain has caused roads to be flooded and it’s very dangerous for busses to run; especially on back roads in low lying areas. I think I’ll move to Seattle for a little relief from this wet weather, lol!

We are planning on going to the local basketball game tonite, my son teaches there and helps with the game broadcasting. Daisey Kent will be there so I’ll also get to enjoy my little Wildcat.

Sporty style may be my favorite. As I grow older, comfort is of more importance than it used to be. Looking good while feeling good is my goal. I love that this Crown & Ivy sweeper top from Belk has a bright lemon stripe not only on the sleeves but on the back hem. Pairing it with jeans and white sneakers is effortless style and of course quite comfortable.

I’ve had these Topshop sneakers for over a year and although not expensive; they have held out well. They still look good and are a little dressier (if you can call sneakers dressy) than my Converse tennies.
