Animal Print & Blue For A Summer Look

Happy, happy Monday!  I know, I know, easy for me to say while I’m out for summer vacation.  I love my job but have to admit,  it’s nice to wake up with nowhere to go.  Just my couch, coffee…and ipad of course.

My girlfriends and I have a GDO planned for Thursday.  We love going to new places for new adventures.  I’ll give details later but here’s a little teaser. It involves goat cheese and thrift stores.  Can’t wait!

One reason animal prints have such staying power is the ease of matching colors with them. A leopard blouse looks fresh when paired with a summery blue skirt.

Style tip….to shorten the long sleeves (this blouse doesn’t have the button tab for roll up sleeves), just button the first wrist button and leave the second open.  Then you can push up the sleeves to make a 3/4 length.  This material is too flimsy to simply roll up.

I bought two pencil skirts from JCP years ago.  This one and a bright pink.  The tightness of the skirt depends on whether I’m ten pounds  up or ten pounds down. There have definitely been times when a long cardigan was needed as a topper, lol.

My cage heels are years old also (nothing new today 🤷‍♀️)
