Casual Color Block Outfits

Well hello Wednesday, you got here quickly! When it’s a busy week, the days fly by. My nights have been free but I’ve been on my three day diet again this week so I’ve prepared my meals at night. This diet is so low maintenance though; boiling an egg or cutting up a fruit or veggie is about all there is to it.

Jim has to check my car this evening. Evidently, it is leaking anti-freeze, I found two ugly spots on my garage floor. It’s always something isn’t it?

You know my life is pretty boring when my topics of the day are my diet and leaking anti-freeze, haha.

Color Block Top from Loft Outlet

Check out yesterday’s post for more color block top options. Today, I styled the same top with black denim and booties for a less casual look. You can see by the pictures that this top drapes well and as I said before, the high-low hem gives coverage in the back. Anything short on me looks boxy so I usually migrate to a v-neck and longer top.

Color block tops and dresses have been trendy for some time now and I still see it everywhere. It’s much more interesting than a solid and not as busy as some patterns.

I linked this top Monday because it is so similar to the leopard top I was wearing. It falls under the color block category also and it’s a great price so I have linked it again.

I wore these to school today and they worked fine. I do think I’ll go down a half size when I order them in black but I can double sock or wear my thicker socks with these and make it fine.

Pave Gold Earrings

I had these earrings on yesterday’s post, but I wasn’t wearing them. I love how sparkly they are and the size is perfect. All the Loft Outlet pieces I have shown the last two days are still on sale.

I changed up the outfit a little by pairing black denim and gray slip-ons. I added a gray backpack/purse that would work well for running errands.

These sneakers are so comfortable; I am ready to start wearing them again but I’ll wait til the weather begins to warm a little. Until then, I’ll have to stick to my boots and socks for warmth.

This gray convertible bag is Chinese Laundry and I can’t find it anywhere online. Backpacks are still trendy so I’ve linked a few for you. If you like a hands free bag when shopping or whatever; then a crossbody or backpack is for you.
