Is it mandatory to drink rum at Rum Point? Absolutely not! It’s simply the name of a beautiful beach and pier at the tranquil north side of Grand Cayman. It’s where many depart in boats and catamarans heading to Stingray City but that’s an entire post on its own. Suffice it to say, both Rum Point and Stingray City (which is a sandbar in the ocean where you are welcome to swim and interact with dozens of friendly stingrays) are an absolute must when visiting Grand Cayman.
Embroidery and ruffles make this breezy top stylish and feminine; paired with drawstring shorts they create the perfect comfy outfit for a day at Rum Point, Grand Cayman. My top is Democracy brand but was purchased last year and is no longer available. Similar//Similar

3 girls and a turtle…
This week was my friends most successful snorkeling adventures ever! Rays, 5 foot eels, sharks, turtles, lobster, parrot fish on steroids and more!! As for me, I so enjoyed swimming my laps in the pool (I REALLY did them), reading and relaxing. It truly is paradise here.
We were also treated to multiple sightings of deep green colored parrots in the trees while eating last night’s dinner. That particular species is native to the island and only lives on Grand Cayman. Needless to say, they are protected. They fly in pairs and they chatter to each other. I’ll have pictures on my next post.
Our vacation is coming to an end (sob). Thank you for visiting this week and sharing this beautiful island with us. Check out my most recent posts for more pics of and info about Grand Cayman.
