Floral Off The Shoulder Top

Today is the last of this month’s Stitch Fix tops.  I’m styling it with the frayed denim from yesterday. There was a pair of pink sandals that rounded out the five items I received this month.  I didn’t really like them so I wasn’t tempted to buy. Picture below.

I’m doing a 180 tomorrow, moving from summer to fall looks.  The weather is next level hot and it’s rough wearing sweaters even for a short while to take pictures. The heat makes it tough but the lighting is much better on the porch in the summer than in the winter months.  I struggled last year trying to find a good time of day to have good lighting.  That’s so important ya’ll! A reporter once asked Dolly Parton about her beauty secret; she replied, “Makeup, lighting and doctors!” Lol

The print on this Renee C top is so pretty against the dark blue. I’ve said it before, I don’t like an off the shoulder top on me.  It’s very pretty on others but my shoulders are too wide, so sending this top back is a no-brainer. In all fairness, most off the shoulders work perfectly well on the shoulders.  Here is my Steinmart top shown both ways.

The Details Are In The Sleeves post

I’m still thinking about these shorts.  If you read the last two posts, I’m undecided on whether to keep them.  I like them so much but they are higher than I want to pay ($68). I have a few more days to think about it soooo we will see.
