How To Layer For Spring & What Is Up With My Hair?

Happy Friday!  It has been a long, rainy, messy week.  So thankful for the weekend.

Layering is an effective way to incorporate spring or summer tops without freezing to death.  That’s why I love cardigans so very much.  Or in my case today, a boyfriend button up over a graphic tee.

White sneakers replace the booties and voila! I have a style ready for spring.

I have no idea what is up with my hair!!!  Just kidding….I know exactly what the problem is.  Skipping a washing on my off day.  I was not blessed with luxurious hair.  It has to be babied just to look decent.

I chose darker wash jeans to provide a contrast to the light blue shirt.

When the temps reach 70, I can actually go without that extra layer.  I like to side knot the tee to give my waist definition, but you could also half tuck.  The knot is more comfortable to me but I like both looks.

I may be the only woman around that hasn’t read this book yet.  It’s a  New York Times’ best-seller.  I only started it a couple of days ago and I already love this girl!  She tells the good, bad and ugly of her life, which from the outside (and according to social media), looks perfect.

I can’t wait to read more!
