3 Ways To Wear Your Midi Dress

Good day guys!  Another week and a million things to do.  I hope you all had a wonderful Mother’s Day.  We spent time with family and enjoyed the day.

Ten days left of school.  The students are a bit like caged animals right now.  Any prayers for me (and all teachers) to make it through sanely would be appreciated.

It’s so nice when someone gives (aka) lends you new clothes to style!  This dress is the last of the three from my sister-in-law.  Her shopping style is completely different from mine.  She prefers to shop about three times a year but when she does, it’s hard core.  It’s an all out spree! I, on the other hand,  like to spread my shopping throughout the year.  What is your MO?

The ruffle and handkerchief hemline on this Kaari Blue dress is so feminine and pretty.  The rough edge tassel detail at the neck is nice also.  It’s  really not my color but will look beautiful on my dark-haired sister-in-law.  I guess that’s all that counts since it is her dress, lol.

I like the look on me much better with the addition of a denim shirt or jacket. This shirt is a Crown & Ivy soft denim.  Similar here.

On a side note, notice the fern frond on the floor. After buying the fern, I placed it on the side table.  Every morning since, I’ve found it turned over on the porch.  I’m convinced that my gentle giant of a dog is harboring some kind of resentment against this innocent fern! It’s never damaged, just on the floor.  Every morning I place it back on the stand, every night Spart pulls it over again.

Guilty look? I think so…

The denim jacket is Jessica Simpson.

Espadrille wedges are Franco Sarto. Yellow color option here.
