Navy Velvet Cold Shoulder Top and White Denim

Having velvet feels today.  Chilly weather and anticipating the upcoming holidays make velvet a great option!

Wearing a sweet velvet cold-shoulder top today.  I tried two different shoes with this outfit.  Boots for comfort and heels for looks.

These white jeans are cropped so they feel a little bulky tucked into boots.  I think the pants would look better with ankle boots.

This Dillard’s top’s color is malachite.  Malachite??? I’ve never heard of this in my life and I sure didn’t know what color it was.  I researched and it’s a mineral that is green.  So there! I learn something new everyday.  Geology was not my favorite subject.

Such a pretty dress for a holiday event!

I have to be honest here.  I also don’t like the purse being a darker shade of brown than the boots.  I like the shades to be little closer.  Not a big deal, but I would have worn darker boots if I had realized.  Taking self pics is a very good exercise in self-examination, for sure!

I do like the contrast of the royal blue heels with the white jeans.  These heels are much higher than I normally wear (3″) so I only take these out for a spin when it’s a short trip!
