Jim and I had a great time yesterday running errands, shopping and eating at Outback using a gift card he received. It was nice of him to share it with me! He bought me a large clock from Hobby Lobby. The one on my living room wall died and I didn’t realize until it was dead how much I relied on it. I could see it from four different rooms and checked it often. So glad I have a replacement now. I’ll snap a picture of it once it is hung.
I pulled these pictures from previous posts as workable New Year’s Eve outfits. Most are party attire but a few looks are more casual. Sometimes adding just one piece can turn a blah outfit into a stylish look.
A very basic black dress with a pretty pink necklace (similar).
Button up that dress coat to make an impressive first impression!
This tulle skirt was a $13 Amazon buy. A simple cardigan in a bright color makes this outfit party ready.
Details such as this ruffled hemline dress up a look. Naturally, a wrap or pretty coat would be needed in December (even in Alabama).
It’s hard to see in this picture, but this blouse has tiny sequins so they add sparkle to a black pants’ look. The CeCe blouse below has a pretty dotted Swiss fabric.
This dress is too short for me but adding tights makes it look more appropriate, plus I love the pop of maroon.
More black options…because why not?
A sparkly necklace enhances a LBD. Adding a bright cardigan can take away the severity of a solid black dress. Metallic accessories finish the look.
