Red Wrap Top & Denim From Stitch Fix

How is your week going? Mine has been pretty uneventful, so that’s good. Teaching 8th graders all day is exhausting so when I get home; I pretty much want to crash. I’ll be heading south to see my daughter this weekend and celebrate my birthday.  I love how it has stretched out for a couple of weeks. So much fun!

Stitch Fix arrival day is always fun! Online ordering is one thing but SF is even more exciting because you don’t know what you’re getting. The pretty floral top and frayed denim shorts are two of the items that came in the box.

I purchased this pretty straw purse on sale from Nordstrom. Unfortunately, it has sold out so I linked several options.

Of the five pieces I received this month, I’m planning on keeping two of them.  This top is one and the other top I will style tomorrow.  Actually, my daughter Kara is taking that one.  I love the fit but just don’t need it and it will look good on her.  She is taller than me and it’s a longer knit top with a mixed pattern. Why am I telling you about it today? You’ll see it soon!

I love the tomato red of this West Kei blouse.  I also like the fact that I can wear this into fall. With the Stitch Fix program, you apply your $20 styling fee toward purchase of any item.  You can also leave your stylist notes; I think I will ask mine to start sending me fall pieces.  I’m so ready to start wearing them!

The denim shorts are Kut From The Kloth brand and I was so tempted to keep them.  They were a little pricey @$68; especially since it’s the end of summer.  The fit is perfect for me and they have just a bit of distressing but they are going back (sob!).

These straw sandals are so island-y and fun! I found them on sale at Belk last spring for $13. I can’t find them now of course, so I linked several options in case you are still interested in summer sandals.

I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday.  Thanks for stopping by. I am also on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest.

I would love to hear from you!
