Split Neck Top & Deconstructed Jeans

The first three days of the ’19-’20 school year are in the books. We have had two classroom work days and one Institute Day (this is a half day county wide meeting with all employees). Our guest speaker was Gerry Brooks, a Lexington Kentucky principal who has become  famous for his spoof videos on YouTube.  He is extremely entertaining and each video he creates is relatable, funny and also has a positive message.

Next week we will have staff meetings and students will arrive on Wednesday. It has been a great start to my 27th year!

Styling the same jeans as yesterday but I dressed the outfit up a little today.

My top has elastic ruching and a split neckline. It actually has long sleeves but I pushed them up so the top wouldn’t look so fallish. I chose a few top options that have an autumn feel, just to get us in the mood.

This cute Topshop purse is a perfect option for transitioning to cooler weather.  The deep green and tortoise handles are so pretty.  It is a mini so I treat it like my clutches, which means I keep a larger bag in my car that holds everything I couldn’t fit in the small purse, lol.  Am I the only one that does this???

I found this similar pair at Nordstrom and like them even better than mine. Mine came from JCP years ago and I have really enjoyed them.  The clunky heel gives stability and makes them super comfortable.
