    Well…vacation is over and I’m back in fall outfits.  It’s October and this week is finally feeling like fall.  Not quite sweater weather yet but getting there.  This lightweight peach cardigan is perfect for cooler temps. It is such a pretty color but unfortunately, not great with my skin tone.  I try and break out of my comfort zone occasionally but I feel more confident in brighter colors.   • Faded Olive Green Zip Up w Denim for a Casual Look

    Not what I wore to church but definitely a nice, lazy Sunday afternoon outfit. I’m not sure what the wash on this olive zip up sweatshirt is called.  I just call it faded but that doesn’t seem  exact enough.  I bought it last year from Maurice’s. I’ve worn it both ways, zipped up alone or unzipped over a tee.  I like the olive color paired with dark wash denim. Wearing the shirt with raw edge jeans and trendy booties take away the frumpy effect of a sweatshirt and jean outfit.  Also, push the sleeves to the elbow to add easy style to a slouchy top.   • Burgundy Sweater/Camo Leggings

    I’ve always heard that if you love an item buy two so you will have a back up.  I wish I could go back to last fall and buy an extra pair of these camo leggings from Maurice’s. By the time I realized how much I enjoyed the look, feel and fit; they were sold out and I haven’t seen them since. (sigh) Fashion is all about trial and error.  This was an error.   My older Coach crossbody just didn’t mesh with the camo.  Sometimes it takes looking at the pictures objectively to know what works and what doesn’t.
