Tan Sweater With Split Booties

Happy Sunday!  This isn’t what I’m wearing  to church today, I actually wore it to school last week. Even though it is certainly cold enough to be tempted to wear pants, I am going to swap the jeans for a skirt and tights and hope to stay warm.  Speaking of school, the threat of snow for early next week excited everyone, thinking we might get a snow day soon.

We have two days off but not because of snow.  The flu has hit pretty hard and our local city and county schools have had to shut down.  Hopefully, staying out a day or so will squelch that nasty bug and we can all be healthy again.  I’m fine so far but who knows what tomorrow will bring.

I love a piece that is versatile.  A sweater with classic style and in a neutral color can be worn so many ways.  I took these at 7:15 am before I left for school so I didn’t take time to show it with different outfits.  I’ll restyle soon with a skirt and maybe black slacks.  The bell sleeves give it a modern look.

I chose to complete the outfit with dark denim leggings and split side booties; the ultimate in comfort.  A little stretch in denim has to be one of the greatest inventions ever! Lol

The pretty green necklace really shows up against the tan.  My daughter made each of the ladies in our family one for Christmas!

She has beautiful crocheted items and jewelry on etsy!

Because these Diba True’s are split on the sides, they are very comfortable without being too loose.  They are a great quality shoe and a decent price point at $149. My friends and I caught them on sale last year for around $120.  They come in six colors.

Have a blessed Sunday!

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Jeremiah 29:11

I would love to hear from you!
