It’s nice to have basic transition pieces. From winter to spring; a crop pant, a basic pair of sneakers, summer sweaters and long sleeve tops will easily move you into warmer weather.
Crop jeans show a little ankle and white leather sneakers are durable during wet weather but still give a look of springtime. I am styling cloth sneakers because I’ve ordered, but mine haven’t arrived yet. They are linked below.
Summer sweaters in spring colors are perfect because weather can still be nippy but you may not want to wear your heavy winter gear in March and April. Neons are having a moment this spring so this sweater is on trend.
I’ve seen more boot cut jeans lately. They are trying to make a comeback. I still love skinnies and don’t think they are going away anytime soon.
BTW, I’m sharing the spotlight with the Amaryllis today. It was nice the day I took pics. Since then, the blooms have drooped and wilted so I pinched them off. Just waiting for the next buds to bloom!
My sweater is old, old, old but I found a few and linked them below. Here is a post I wrote in the summer with the same sweater and white shorts. Wish I had that tan right about now. It’s definitely time to order (and apply) my favorite bronze tanner.
If neons aren’t your thing, you can always wear pastels. So refreshing for this time of year.
Thank you for stopping by today. I am also on Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook.
