Floral Fall Top And Denim

I know it’s only Thursday but I’m so looking forward to the weekend. We have no plans other than eating, resting and college football of course. I love hosting and having get togethers with friends and family but I also enjoy doing absolutely nothing! We need a relaxing weekend, that’s for sure!

This New Direction top has been calling my name for some time. I spotted it online but waited to see if it would go on sale. Then, I saw it in the store when Kara and I went on my birthday shopping trip and I liked it even better. It isn’t expensive full price but I did manage to snag it on sale. It’s still available in three prints.

The fall tones are so pretty; olive green, deep orange, off white and black. It makes me long for cooler days and falling leaves.

I’m still wearing my skinnies even though straight jeans are showing up everywhere. Not sure how I feel about that style on me but I have some ordered. Nordstrom sent me a red dress instead, haha! So, I have to send back (all returns are free) and have them send me the jeans. How jeans were confused with a red dress I have no idea but maybe someone was having a bad day, or maybe they thought I needed a red dress!

These red (sold out) Loft earrings (black & white here) work well with the top. Adding jewelry to my outfits is a weakness of mine so I’m really proud of myself when I not only wear a larger earring but one with color! I’m trying to do better and have ordered a couple of pieces. This silver ring  just arrived and I am wearing it in the pics but did not get a good shot of it, so it is added below.

It’s almost time for another gift card giveaway to show my appreciation to my readers. If you are already a subscriber, entering is automatic. If you join my mailing list this month or next, you will be entered twice! Good luck!

I am also on Pinterest, Instagram and Facebook.

I would love to hear from you!
