Work Outfit Basics That Will Take You Into Spring

It’s back to work I go! Yesterday was spent working  on the blog.  I’m trying to get ahead because I know how busy I will be the rest of the week.

We enjoyed celebrating with my son and daughter-in-law in honor of his 32nd birthday. I meant to take a picture but we were all talking and laughing and time got away from me.  We are grilling out next weekend so I’ll try and get a shot then.

This isn’t what I wore to work today.  It’s still too cold and rainy.  Short sleeves and heels aren’t practical.  Even a blazer isn’t warm enough.  Hopefully, milder weather is around the corner.

These three basics will serve you very well in the professional world.  A classic pair of slacks, a black blazer and black wearable heels will be just as stylish ten years from now.  These are pieces that are worth investing in.  You can save money on the trendy items that won’t be in style long.

A wrap top in a pattern keeps the outfit from being boring.  Change up your blouse every time you wear your basics and no one will notice you are wearing them over and over!
